Path of the Human Being, Way of the Awakened Warrior

An intensive, initiatory journey requiring a personal commitment for individuals intent upon excavating, healing and liberating themselves from the shackles of familial and social conditioning, domestication and colonization – devoted not only to studying but to sincerely walking and living the Indigenous and Toltec Path with heart, upholding the highest values of honor, respect, integrity and impeccability.

A tutelage specifically tailored to avail seekers in realizing their Dreams, intentions and aspirations as well as the foster profound healing and lasting liberation from fears, wounds, issues, patterns and addictions by remembering and embodying indigenous ways of living and being and to remember their Original Instructions – the unique purpose, mission and reason for being on this Earth.

Regardless of where we may currently dwell, all of us have Indigenous Ancestors (some from unbroken lineages) who cultivated direct and abiding relationship with the Natural and Unseen realms. Drawing upon Ancient wisdom, principles and practices, the aspirant learns to surrender and connect with the Spirits and to fortify one’s relationship to the Earth and Mystery to realize the fundamental human values of integrity, Impeccability, commitment, accountability, responsibility, dependability, fearlessness, respect, maturity and resiliency in order to be an instrument of selfless service in the relief of suffering in the world.

Reawakening instinct, cultivating and remembering Dreams, decolonizing and rewilding oneself, one’s intrinsic Indigeneity is awakened to live fully from the heart and Spirit.

Requirements for the 52 Moon Cycle Commitment

  • Initiation through a Declaration of Intent and Opening Session
  • 12 Counseling Sessions (one per month) either in Person or Remotely 
  • Complete All Tasks & Read Assigned Material

  • Complete the Following One (*) and Two Day Intensives:
    • Phase I – The Indigenous Journey*, Road to Fearlessness, Indigenous Healing, Sound Healing, The Medicine of Community,  Healing the Human Being, Energy Retrieval, The Medicine of Grief, Death & Dying, Human Artistry*
    • Phase II – Death as an Ally, Primal Energy Medicine, The Art and Paths of Peacemaking,  Dreaming Ourselves Awake, The Art of Tracking, The Art of Divination, Shapeshifting- The Art of  Transformation, Indigenetics – Remembering the Ancients, Mitakuye Oyasin – We Are All Related
  • Complete the Following Week Long Intensives:
    • Sacred Hoop of Life (Medicine Wheel) Teachings in Chaco Canyon, NM
    • The Four Elements
    • Ancient Teachings and Technologies of Survival

  • Attend the Following Traditional Ceremonies:
    • At least one Sundance as a Supporter
    • At least Two Traditional Vision Quests – First as a Supporter, then as a Quester

  • Attend as many Sacred Hoops, Drum Circles and Ceremonies- Full Moon, New Moon, Equinox, Solstice, Cross Quarter Holidays & Purification Lodges as Possible – local students
  • Attend at least two Sacred Hoop of Life (Medicine Wheel) Ceremonies atop Mount Tamalpais – local students

  • Obtain Certification in CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and Standard First Aid
  • Begin to Learn or Resume one’s Discipline in the following:
    • Anatomy
    • A Musical
    • Instrument
    • A Martial Art or Movement Form
    • Plants/ Herbs
    • Art (Painting, Drawing, Beading, Ceramics, Leatherwork, etc.)

  • Personally Attend a Closing Session

Requirements for the 26 Moon Cycle Commitment

  • Initiate the Program in Person through a Declaration of Intent and Opening Session
  • 12 Counseling Sessions (one per month) either in Person or Remotely
  • Complete the Following One (*) and Two Day Workshops:
    • Phase I – The Indigenous Journey*, Road to Fearlessness, Indigenous Healing, Sound Healing, The Medicine of Community,  Healing the Human Being, Energy Retrieval, The Medicine of Grief, Death & Dying, Human Artistry*
  • Complete One of the Following Week Long Intensives:
    • Medicine Wheel Teachings (Chaco Canyon, NM) or Shamanism and the Four Elements

  • Attend as many Sacred Hoops, Drum Circles and Ceremonies- Full Moon, New Moon, Equinox, Solstice, Cross Quarter Holidays & Purification Lodges as Possible

  • Obtain Certification in CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and Standard First Aid
  • Read Assigned Material & Complete All Tasks
  • Begin to Learn or Resume one’s Discipline in the following:
    • Anatomy
    • A Musical Instrument
    • A Martial Art or Movement Form
    • Plants/ Herbs
    • Art (Painting, Drawing, Beading, Ceramics, Leatherwork, etc.)
  • Personally Attend a Closing Session
  • Optional – Attend the Following Traditional Ceremonies:
    • Sundance as a Supporter
    • Traditional Vision Quests – First as a Supporter, then as a Quester

Requirements for the 13 Moon Cycle Commitment

  • Initiate the Program in Person through a Declaration of Intent and Opening Session
  • 12 Counseling Sessions (one per month) either in Person or Remotely
  • Complete the Following Intensives:
    • The Indigenous Journey & The Road to Fearlessness- The Path of the Warrior
  • Select Two Workshops from the Following:
    • Indigenous Healing, Sound Healing, Energy Retrieval, Death & Dying, Human Artistry
  • Obtain Certification in CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and Standard First Aid
  • Read Assigned Material & Complete All Tasks
  • Attend as many Sacred Hoops, Drum Circles and Ceremonies- Full Moon, New Moon, Equinox, Solstice, Cross Quarter Holidays & Purification Lodges as possible
  • Personally Attend a Closing Session

Requirements for the 9 Moon Cycle Commitment

  • 9 Counseling Sessions (One per Month) – either in Person or Remotely 

  • Read Assigned Material & Complete All Tasks
