SUMMARY:Intensive: The Indigenous Journey
DESCRIPTION:Indigenous Medicine is one of the most ancient Paths known and traversed by humanity for the acquisition of wisdom\, knowledge and healing for one’s community\, nation\, planet and self.  Via the vehicles of Indigenous song\, movement\, Prayer and music\, we journey to and explore landscapes and Sacred geographies that Medicine People from diverse cultures have frequented for millennia. Undertaken with specific intent and purpose\, we encounter and acquaint ourselves with the Spirits and powerful denizens of these realms- our Allies\, Benefactors and Guardians – to learn and partake of the Medicine they have to offer.  It is an experience steeped in Spirit\, Mystery and Magic\, presented in a Traditional manner and provides the foundation upon which to embark on the Path. Additionally\, we will address the importance and necessity of decolonizing modern “shamanism” and protecting Sacred Plant Medicines.\n\n\nNo prerequisites – everyone welcome. \n\n\n\n\n\nIn this intensive participants will receive:\n\n\n– An understanding of various indigenous relationships to Ancestral Realms\n\n\n– Instruction in the mechanics of effective Journeying (without Sacred Plant Medicines)\n\n– Direct contact and introduction to one’s Helping Spirits & Ancestors\n– An appreciation of the requirements and responsibilities to become a Traditional Healer/Medicine person\n– Tools to become an ally in decolonizing modern “shamanism” & protecting Sacred Plant Medicines\n\n\nFor more information about the reciprocity and to sign up for this Intensive\, please contact us via call or text at (410) 310-0981
