Winter Solstice Salutations Relatives,

Reflecting upon 2011, as portended, it was indeed a year of great promise – with considerable challenges and growth along the way. I express profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to those of you who continue to support (through various and innumerable means and ways) the Vision of Ancestral Voice and myself – your presence, participation and service allow for the Dream to enfold.

As for novel developments… having relied principally upon word of mouth and the website to generate interest and bring attention to the Center in the past, in light of present circumstances in this modern age as well as listening to the appeals by many a tiospaye member, I am (with admitted reservation) embracing the idea and practice of social networking platforms.
Consequently, an Indigenous Lifeways Meetup Group has been formed and a Facebook page for Ancestral Voice will be launched in the New Year. Praying such actions will assist in expanding the visibility and reach of the Center thereby touching more lives in a favorable way. Trusting you will join them as a show of your solidarity and to allow Grandmother Spider to weave and cast a wider web of interconnectivity and communication.

Standing upon the cusp of the approaching year, with all of the hype and fears that have been generated in anticipation, I searched the archives for a reflection I composed earlier (Reflections, 3rd Qtr 2009 in the Archive [link below]) which speaks to the truth of this time – a reminder for us to live and walk fearlessly in the world with maturity, responsibility and sobriety and to collectively awaken for the benefit of the Earth and All of our Relations for Seven Generations and beyond.

In the name and spirit of this intent, Ancestral Voice is commencing initiations in the various Moon Cycle commitments in the Indigenous Lifeways Program. If you hear and are compelled to heed the clarion call, time is of the essence and the time is now.

Copious Blessings to you and your family in this season of Holydays and the Winter of Dreaming,

Phillip
